Job summary

Gi Group is recruiting multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers for a leading parcel delivery network in Leeds (LS9). Shifts vary with day and night patterns, with an average 12-hour shift.

Pay rates include Days £17.93, Nights £19.05, and higher rates for weekend shifts; rates are inclusive of holiday pay. Applicants must have 12 months Class 1 experience and hold a valid Tachograph & CPC.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 12 months experience as a Class 1 Driver.
• No more than 6 penalty points; no DD/ IN/ DR/ DN/ TT endorsements.
• Hold a valid Tachograph & CPC.
• Good customer service skills.

Drivers shifts

• Average 12-hour shift

HGV Class 1 Drivers pay & benefits

• Days: £17.93 per hour
• Night: £19.05 per hour
• Saturday days: £20.17 per hour
• Saturday night: £21.29 per hour
• Sunday days: £22.41 per hour
• Sunday night: £23.53 per hour

Please note these rates are inclusive of holiday pay

HGV Class 1 Driver main duties will include

• Conducting Vehicle checks
• Trunking work to depots and Hubs
• Prioritising workload to ensure time commitments are met

HGV Class 1 Driver requirements

• A presentable appearance, an eye for detail and a positive attitude.
• No more than 6 penalty points. No DD / IN / DR / DN / TT endorsement codes
• Hold a valid, in date Tachograph & CPC
• Have good customer service skills
• Must have at least 12 months experience as a Class 1 Driver
