Job summary

GI Group Main Account is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for a major parcel network in Norwich (NR6). Shifts run 13:00–20:30, Monday to Friday, with average 12-hour days. Hourly rates start at £20.34, with overtime at £25.25 and weekend rates higher.

Rates include holiday pay. Duties include vehicle checks, trunking to depots/hubs, and prioritising workloads to meet deadlines. Applicants should have Tachograph CPC valid and no more than 6 penalty points.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid, in-date Tachograph and CPC.
• Minimum 12 months experience as a Class 1 Driver.
• No more than 6 penalty points; no DD/ IN/ DR/ DN/ TT endorsements.

GI Group are currently recruiting for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers for one of the worlds leading parcel delivery networks in Norwich (NR6).

Drivers shifts:

• - 1300-2030 starts
• - Monday to Friday
• - Average 12-hour shift
• - Monday to Friday - £20.34 per hour
• - Overtime (After 8 hours) - £25.25 per hour
• - Saturday - £23.52 per hour
• - Overtime (After 8 hours) - £25.25 per hour
• - Sunday - £26.25 per hour
• *Please note these rates are inclusive of holiday pay

HGV Class 1 Driver main duties will include:

• - Conducting Vehicle checks
• - Trunking work to depots and Hubs
• - Prioritising workload to ensure time commitments are met

HGV Class 1 Driver requirements:

• - A presentable appearance, an eye for detail and a positive attitude.
• - No more than 6 penalty points. No DD / IN / DR / DN / TT endorsement codes
• - Hold a valid, in date Tachograph & CPC
• - Must have at least 12 months experience as a Class 1 Driver
