Job summary

GI Group are recruiting for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers for one of the world\'s leading parcel delivery networks in Poole (BH17).

Shifts are afternoon, on an ad-hoc basis with an average 12-hour shift and pay rates shown. Applicants should hold a Tachograph and CPC, have up to 6 penalty points, and at least 12 months experience as a Class 1 Driver.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 12 months experience as a Class 1 Driver.
• Hold a valid Tachograph and CPC.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no DD/IN/DR/DN/TT endorsements.
• Presentable appearance with eye for detail and a positive attitude.
• Good customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Conducting vehicle checks.
• Trunking work to depots and hubs.
• Prioritising workload to meet time commitments.

Drivers shifts:

We are looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers to work afternoon shifts on an ad‑hoc basis.

• Average 12-hour shift

HGV Class 1 Drivers pay & benefits:

• Days: £17.93 per hour
• Night: £19.05 per hour
• Saturday days: £20.17 per hour
• Saturday night: £21.29 per hour
• Sunday days: £22.41 per hour
• Sunday night: £23.53 per hour

*Please note these rates are inclusive of holiday pay

HGV Class 1 Driver main duties will include:

• Conducting Vehicle checks
• Trunking work to depots and Hubs
• Prioritising workload to ensure time commitments are met

HGV Class 1 Driver requirements:

• A presentable appearance, an eye for detail and a positive attitude.
• No more than 6 penalty points. No DD / IN / DR / DN / TT endorsement codes
• Hold a valid, in date Tachograph & CPC
• Have good customer service skills
• Must have at least 12 months experience as a Class 1 Driver
