Job summary

Ignition Driver Recruitment is seeking reliable HGV Class 1 Drivers (C+E) for trunking and tramping work in Warrington. You will operate Class 1 vehicles on planned routes, perform daily checks, and complete paperwork. Trunking is primary, with minimal handballing; tramp/trip work also available.

Must have 12 months experience, CPC and Tachograph cards, and up to 6 points. They offer 7-day operation with AM/PM/Night shifts, weekly pay, ongoing work, and opportunities for training and upskilling.

Qualifications

• Valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence with 12 months experience.
• Current UK Driver CPC (DCPC) card and a valid Digital Tachograph card.
• Up to 6 points on licence (no DD, DR, CD, TT, IN).

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class 1 (C+E) vehicles on planned routes.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and complete relevant paperwork.
• Majority trunking work with minimal handballing; tramping also available.
• Follow all driving laws and company procedures.
• Represent the company professionally at client sites.

Pay Rate: £16.40 to £18.37 p/h+ £150 sign on bonus

Shifts: 7 day working operation -AM, PM and Night shifts available - shifts to suit all

• A professional attitude and good communication skills
