Job summary

Ignition Driver Recruitment is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers for opportunities across the North West. Roles include trunking, store deliveries and RDC work with modern fleets and immediate starts.

You need a valid UK Class 1 licence, 12 months driving experience, DCPC and a tachograph card. Benefits include a £150 sign-up bonus, flexible shifts and weekly pay to suit your schedule.

Responsibilities

• Trunking between depots and distribution centres.
• Store deliveries or RDC work as per contract.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Ensure deliveries are completed safely, professionally and on time.
• Comply with Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and Road Transport regulations.
• Complete all relevant paperwork and electronic records accurately.

The Role

As a professional HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties may include:

• Trunking between depots and distribution centres
• Store deliveries or RDC work (depending on the contract)
• Completing daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
• Ensuring deliveries are completed safely, professionally and on time
• Complying with Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and Road Transport regulations
• Completing all relevant paperwork and electronic records accurately

What We're Looking For

To be considered for this role, you'll need:

• A valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Driving Licence
• At least 12 months' commercial Class 1 driving experience
• A valid Driver CPC qualification (DCPC)
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card
• A professional attitude with a strong commitment to safety and customer service
