Job summary

Qube Recruitment is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 drivers for trunking operations based in Warrington. This ongoing, full-time role offers reliable shifts, modern vehicles, and depot-to-depot movements with no multi-drop deliveries or handball.

You will perform trunking routes, check vehicles, secure loads, and complete paperwork while adhering to driverHours, tachograph rules and safety standards. Ongoing, consistent work with weekly pay is available.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous Class 1 driving experience.
• Good understanding of driver compliance and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled HGV Class 1 trunking routes between depots and customer locations.
• Move trailers between depots and customer sites.
• Carry out vehicle checks before and after shifts.
• Ensure loads are secured safely and correctly.
• Complete delivery paperwork and digital records.
• Follow Driver Hours, Tachograph and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Maintain a professional approach with customers and colleagues.

We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers (C+E) to join a professional logistics operation based in Warrington.

This is an excellent opportunity for reliable drivers looking for ongoing trunking work, operating modern vehicles and completing straightforward depot-to-depot movements.

The Role

As a Class 1 Trunking Driver, you will be responsible for completing scheduled trunking routes between depots and customer locations, ensuring all movements are completed safely and efficiently.

Duties include:

• Completing HGV Class 1 trunking routes

• Moving trailers between depots and customer sites

• Carrying out vehicle checks before and after shifts

• Ensuring loads are secured safely and correctly

• Completing delivery paperwork and digital records

• Following all drivers' hours, tachograph, and Working Time Directive regulations

• Maintaining a professional approach with customers and colleagues

Clean trunking work no multi-drop deliveries and no handball involved.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:
