Qualifications

• Must hold a valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence.
• Must hold a valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Must hold a valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Prior Class 1 driving experience required.
• Good understanding of driver compliance and safety regulations.
• Reliable and professional attitude essential.

Responsibilities

• Complete HGV Class 1 trunking routes between depots and customer sites.
• Move trailers between depots and customer locations.
• Carry out pre- and post-shift vehicle checks.
• Ensure loads are secured safely and correctly.
• Complete delivery paperwork and digital records.
• Adhere to drivers' hours, tachograph, and Working Time Directive rules.
• Maintain professional interactions with customers and colleagues.

We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers (C+E) to join a professional logistics operation based in Warrington.

The Role

As a Class 1 Trunking Driver, you will be responsible for completing scheduled trunking routes between depots and customer locations, ensuring all movements are completed safely and efficiently.

Duties include:

• Completing HGV Class 1 trunking routes

• Moving trailers between depots and customer sites

• Carrying out vehicle checks before and after shifts

• Ensuring loads are secured safely and correctly

• Completing delivery paperwork and digital records

• Following all drivers' hours, tachograph, and Working Time Directive regulations

• Maintaining a professional approach with customers and colleagues

Clean trunking work no multi-drop deliveries and no handball involved.

Requirements
