Job summary

Ignition Driver Recruitment is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers for roles across the North West. Roles include trunking, store deliveries and RDC work with flexible shifts and immediate starts. Modern fleets, weekly pay and sign-up bonuses are highlighted.

Applicants should have at least 12 months of Class 1 experience, a valid UK licence and a tachograph card. Visa sponsorship is not available. Armed Forces-friendly employer welcoming veterans and Reservists.

• Minimum 12 months commercial Class 1 driving experience.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Professional attitude and strong commitment to safety and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Carry out trunking between depots and distribution centres.
• Perform store deliveries or RDC work as required by contract.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Ensure deliveries are completed safely, on time and in line with regulations.

The Role

As a professional HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties may include:

• Trunking between depots and distribution centres
• Store deliveries or RDC work (depending on the contract)
• Completing daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
• Ensuring deliveries are completed safely, professionally and on time
• Complying with Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and Road Transport regulations
• Completing all relevant paperwork and electronic records accurately

What We're Looking For

To be considered for this role, you'll need:

• A valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Driving Licence
• At least 12 months' commercial Class 1 driving experience
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card
• A professional attitude with a strong commitment to safety and customer service
