Job summary

Qube Recruitment is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 drivers to join a professional logistics operation based in Warrington. You will perform trunking movements between depots and customer sites, ensuring loads are secured and paperwork is completed accurately.

Start times range from 12:00 to 00:00, with ongoing full-time shifts and weekly pay. A valid HGV Class 1 licence, Driver CPC, digital tachograph card, and experience are required; training and support are provided.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 licence and driving experience required.
• Driver CPC qualification required.
• Digital Tachograph Card valid.
• Knowledge of Driver hours, tachograph and Working Time Directive.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled trunking routes between depots and customer sites.
• Move trailers between depots and customer locations.
• Carry out vehicle checks before/after shifts.
• Ensure loads are secured safely and paperwork is completed.
• Follow all hours, tachograph, and WTD regulations.

We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers (C+E) to join a professional logistics operation based in Warrington.

This is an excellent opportunity for reliable drivers looking for ongoing trunking work, operating modern vehicles and completing straightforward depot-to-depot movements.

The Role

As a Class 1 Trunking Driver, you will be responsible for completing scheduled trunking routes between depots and customer locations, ensuring all movements are completed safely and efficiently.

Duties include:

• Completing HGV Class 1 trunking routes

• Moving trailers between depots and customer sites

• Carrying out vehicle checks before and after shifts

• Ensuring loads are secured safely and correctly

• Completing delivery paperwork and digital records

• Following all drivers' hours, tachograph, and Working Time Directive regulations

• Maintaining a professional approach with customers and colleagues

Clean trunking work no multi-drop deliveries and no handball involved.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence

• A valid Driver CPC qualification
