Job summary

Ignition Driver Recruitment are looking for reliable, experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers in Bury to join our team and play a vital role in keeping the supply chain moving. You will safely operate Class 1 (C+E) vehicles on planned routes, conduct daily vehicle checks and paperwork, ensure loads are secure, and represent the company at client sites.

• Must hold UK HGV Class 1 Licence with 12 months experience.
• Must hold a valid DCPC card and Digital Tachograph card.
• Up to 6 points accepted on licence (No DD, DR, CD, TT, IN endorsements).
• Professional attitude and good communication skills.

Job Title: HGV Class 1 Driver (C+E) - Trunking

Location: Bury

Pay Rate: £15.60 to £23.40 p/h + £45.79 weekend supplement + £150 Sign Up Bonus (payable after 12 weeks)

Additional Earnings: Overtime paid after 8 hours

Shifts: 7 day working operation – Sunday to Thursday PM or Monday to Friday AM. Guaranteed 10 hours paid per shift

Licence: Class 1 Licence required

Experience: 12 months Class 1 experience essential
