Job description

The opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced candidate to lead the Claims MI Delivery team, supporting our International lines of business.

You will take ownership of the design, development and delivery of insightful dashboards that empower the stakeholders to monitor claims performance, manage workflow and identify emerging trends. Working closely with Claims leadership, data engineers, and business stakeholders, you will ensure that MI is accurate, timely, and aligned with strategic priorities.

What you’ll be doing

• Lead the delivery of claims MI reporting, from requirements gathering through to dashboard development and stakeholder engagement
• Design and build dashboards that are intuitive, visually compelling and actionable, using Power BI
• Collaborate with Claims teams to understand their workflows and information needs, translating these into effective reporting solutions
• Lead and mentor analysts in the team, providing guidance and support in their professional development and support with the regular claims reporting
• Oversee the development and implementation of data analytics projects to support Claims Operations.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of claims data by implementing robust data quality controls.
• Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute strategic initiatives aimed at improving claims performance.
• Prepare and present detailed reports and analysis to senior leadership, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
• Manage the delivery of key projects and initiatives, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Monitor and report on Key Performance Indicators to drive improved claims performance.
• Use Power BI, Claims Systems, and Expert spend systems to build insightful dashboards and reports for multiple business functions in addition to claims leadership.

Our must-haves

• Proven experience in a data or MI delivery role, ideally within a London Market insurer
• Strong technical skills in data visualisation tools (eg. Power BI or Tableau) and data manipulation (e.g. SQL, DAX, Python or similar)
• A proven track record in data analytics.
• Experience with London market systems and processes such as ECF, claims workflow triggers, and London market claims processes.
• A professional approach to successfully interact and collaborate with senior management, brokers, clients, and the claims leadership and claims management team.
• Experience discussing and documenting technical data requirements.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English language and be able to clearly and concisely articulate messages to a variety of audiences.
