MARINE CLAIMS HANDLER - IPSWICH/LONDON OPTIONS - HYBRID WORKING - SALARY GUIDE £35,000 TO £40,000 - OPPORTUNITIES FOR DEVELOPMENT

We are working with a leading name in the Marine Insurance sector to recruit an experienced Marine Claims Handler. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing specialist claims team handling complex and varied marine losses across a range of products.

You’ll manage a portfolio of marine claims on behalf of a number of insurers, covering areas such as:

  • Ports & Terminals
  • Hull
  • Cargo
  • Marine Liability

Working as part of a highly regarded team of seven, you’ll handle around #removed# cases, delivering efficient claims handling, technical expertise, and first‑class service to clients and stakeholders.

About You
  • At least two years’ experience in a marine environment
  • Technical knowledge of marine insurance
  • The ability to take on a range of marine claims
  • A proactive, solutions‑focused approach and strong communication skills
  • Open to learning from experienced team members and forging a career in the marine claims environment.
Working Arrangements

Hybrid working is offered — typically three days in the office and two from home. Offices are based in Ipswich and London.
