Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough and ethical investigations into crimes involving vulnerable individuals, including child and adult abuse, domestic violence, and sexual offences.
  • Prepare and conduct interviews with suspects while adhering to legal requirements and investigation policies.
  • Manage and support victims and witnesses throughout the investigative process, ensuring they feel safe and informed.
  • Collaborate with partner agencies to ensure effective safeguarding measures are in place.
  • Analyse digital evidence and assist in identifying offenders, particularly in cases of modern slavery and sexual abuse.
