A leading engineering firm in the UK is seeking a Civil Work Superintendent for a decommissioning and CCS project in Talacre. This full-time role requires applicants to have 15-20 years of experience in civil works, including strong skills in civil supervision and team leadership. The Superintendent will ensure safe practices and oversee all civil activities, ensuring they meet technical and quality standards. Qualifications

Location: Talacre, UK
Start: Jan/Feb 2026
Contract: Outside IR35, full‑time (up to 5.5 days per week)
Day Rate: £600 per day

Responsibilities
  • Promote safe working practices and environmental protection.
  • Oversee all civil works to meet project quality, contractual and technical requirements.
  • Develop and manage construction schedules, coordinating resources effectively.
  • Ensure cost‑efficient execution of civil activities and support supervisors on site.
  • Produce progress reports, highlight deviations and propose corrective actions.
  • Monitor productivity and interface with the wider project team.
  • Manage technical and administrative documentation.
  • Achieve MC certification and punch‑list clearance with commissioning.
  • Support resolution of civil engineering issues.
Qualifications
