Qualifications

• Strong experience in estimating for civil engineering and groundworks projects.
• Ability to read construction drawings and complete quantity take-offs.
• Understanding of risk and value management in estimating.

Responsibilities

• Handle multiple projects including civil engineering and building works.
• Read and interpret construction drawings to extract quantities.
• Prepare sub-contract and material enquiries.
• Produce bills of quantities (BOQ's) for tenders.
• Prepare realistic budgets and cost plans.

Skills

Estimating experience across Civils & Groundworks

Commercial & Industrial construction experience

NEC / JCT contracts QS experience

Experience working with clients as principal contractor

Experience of Conquest Software or similar
