Civil Engineer (Marine) | Belfast City Centre

Would you like to join a leading, independent Civil & Structural Engineering practice who can offer the security of a robust project pipeline? Vickerstock are delighted to continue our relationship with this highly successful practice to support in the recruitment of a Civil Engineer with experience in marine projects. Despite the ongoing uncertainty, this business has increased their headcount considerably over the last 12 months, buoyed by the confidence that comes from an ever-increasing schedule of works.

Your new role

You will be joining an established team that offer design services across harbour, coastal protection and river engineering projects. As a specialist in the marine team, you will be involved in the design of new harbour developments, capacity and assessments of existing marine structures, underwater inspections and a wide range of related marine infrastructure.

What you will need to succeed
  • A degree in Civil Engineering (2:1 or above, MEng preferred);
  • A minimum of 7-years industry experience working on marine projects (or similar heavy civil / concrete design projects);
  • Hold Chartered status with a relevant professional body;
