  • Challenging Client specifications as needed and presenting/defending solutions to complex problems.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve delivery processes, including development and implementation of standard designs, sustainable solutions and digital tools.
  • Acting as technical checker on project documents and undertaking technical reviews across teams.
  • Managing interfaces and integration of the design with other disciplines; producing documentation.
  • Seeking input from other engineers, specialists, clients and project teams to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions.
  • Working closely with commercial, operational and construction teams to develop efficient, practical and safe solutions through design, construction and beyond.
  • Supervising and mentoring graduates and engineers to develop their knowledge and skills.
  • Engaging with clients to manage relationships and support them in achieving their aims.
  • Undertaking site reviews to ensure buildability and integration with existing systems.
