Overview

Working as part of the diverse team, this vital role within the distribution chain is the link between production and our haulage team. This is a physical role, working in a temperature-controlled environment, which requires responsibility for accurately picking customer orders, while maintaining health and safety within the workplace. You will work swiftly to facilitate the timely and accurate preparation of customer orders to wholesale buyers and our outlying depots, while maintaining a positive attitude.

Summary

Hours: Minimum of 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Saturday. This role requires flexibility, as end times may vary due to production needs.

Main Duties
  • Accurate picking and stock rotation of customer orders
  • Stock replenishment and maintaining a safe, clean working environment
  • Loading and securing orders on delivery vehicles
  • Complying with food hygiene regulations
Ideal Candidate

We're looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. Prior experience in a warehouse or food production environment is preferred but not essential; candidates who are proactive, accurate, and comfortable working under pressure are welcome to apply. This role offers a great opportunity for growth, with training and development programs provided to build your career in the Warehouse Department.

Important Notes
  • This role requires manual handling and adherence to strict hygiene standards.
  • Due to food hygiene regulations only one solid wedding band is permitted. No earrings, studs, bracelets, necklaces, makeup, strong smelling deodorants or perfumes are permitted in the production area.
  • Reliable transportation to the Tewkesbury site is necessary, as public transport may not align with shift times.
