Senior Support Worker – Children's Residential Home (Bingham NG13, Nottinghamshire)

Essential Skills & Experience
  • Minimum 1 year's experience in residential childcare.
  • Level 3 QCF in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) – or willingness to work towards it.
  • Experience with EBD and trauma‑informed approaches (PACE/DDP desirable).
  • Strong communication and literacy skills.
Training & Development
  • Full training provided, 2‑week induction and includes QCF Level 4 and Level 5 qualifications.
  • Career progression opportunities to Deputy Manager/Manager roles.
  • 1:1 supervision and group sessions with the home’s therapist.

Working Hours
  • 2 week rolling rota:
    • Week 1: 2 shifts – 8 am‑11 pm + sleep (23 :00‑07 :00) + 7 am‑11 pm + sleep.
    • Week 2: 3 shifts – 8 am‑11 pm + sleep (23 :00‑07 :00) + 7 am‑11 pm + sleep + 1 more 7/8 am‑11 pm + sleep either connected or separate from the other two shifts.
