A reputable social care agency is seeking a Social Worker in Children Services to join a Family Support Team on a 13-week contract basis. This role involves child protection and court work, requiring visits to families in various locations and collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams. Qualifications

  • Relevant experience in Children Services, including child protection and court work.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of social work legislation and safeguarding policies.
  • Full registration with SSSC or HCPC (where applicable).

Responsibilities

  • Conducting assessments and developing support plans for children and families.
  • Attending court hearings and producing reports as required.
  • Visiting families in their homes, community settings, or other locations.
  • Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Maintaining accurate case records and ensuring compliance with safeguarding policies.
  • Supporting children and young people to achieve stability and positive outcomes.
