Children's Social Worker - Safeguarding Team
  • £40 per hour
  • Merseyside
  • 35 hours p/w
  • Hybrid working, 3 days in the office

About the role

We have opportunities for experienced (plus 3yrs perm pq) social workers for Safeguarding teams in Merseyside. Must have strong court skills and a proven track record in Safeguarding.

Our client has a high quality senior leadership team who are committed to collaborative practice improvement and making Liverpool a place where good social work can flourish.

You will be joining a team that is supportive and welcoming and shares a vision and the motivation to improve outcomes for the children and families of the city.

They have a stable, permanent team manager and service manager group; you will be supported in your practice by your manager and receive regular reflective supervision.

They have a good range of support services including a Family Group Conference Service, family support workers within teams, and an extensive Early Help Offer to support the children and families of the city and the work you do.

What you need
  • A degree in Social Work or equivalent
  • Registered with Social Work England
  • At least 3 years PQE direct employment within English Local Authorities
  • Completed relevant post‑qualifying training
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Excellent communication and written skills
  • Car driver and have access to a vehicle
