Job description

The role includes supporting young people daily to expand their life skills, encouraging positive behaviours and ensuring they have a loving home environment as they progress into adulthood, ensuring they have the skills to live independently when the time comes.

We have a wonderful opening for an experienced, passionate and caring Children's Residential Support Worker to join our friendly and welcoming group of likeminded individuals., At least 1 year of UK based children's residential care would be essential to be considered forn this position and ideally you have completed the Level 3 qualification in residential care (or currently completing). Must have experience with challenging behaviours, autism and ideally complex needs. A full UK driving licence would also be essential.

As a leading, respected and established provider of children's residential care across Staffordshire for many years, we have provided many children with a safe and stable home which enables them to grow and gain confidence as they transition into adulthood. We are passionate about supporting young people to achieve and grow and we are looking for someone who shares our passion and drive.

Shifts will be a long day/sleep and we ask for up to 10 full shifts per month, there will also be overtime available, salary will start at £32,000- £34,000 dependant on experience. The home typically follows a 2 on 4 off pattern and there will be overtime available.
