Job summary

A youth counselling organization in the United Kingdom is seeking Sessional Counsellors to provide one-to-one counselling for children and young people. Candidates should possess a Level 5 Diploma or higher in Counselling Children and Young People and have significant counselling experience. Qualifications

  • Qualified to Level 5 Diploma (minimum Level 4) in Counselling Children and Young People.

  • At least 100 counselling hours with children and 100 hours with adults.

Responsibilities

  • Provide one-to-one counselling for children and young people.
  • Act on safeguarding concerns and liaise with necessary parties.
  • Keep accurate records and manage referrals and consent forms.
  • Collaborate with schools, social care teams, and health providers.
