A leading UK recruiting firm is seeking a Chief Finance Officer for a part-time role of 3 days a week over a 12-month period. Harvey Nash is now inviting candidates to apply for the role of Chief Finance Officer. This is a part time role at 3 days a week, for a 12-month period.

  • Inside of IR35
  • GBP400 - GBP450 a day

As Chief Finance Officer, your primary role is to provide strategic leadership necessary to secure ongoing financial sustainability, long-term stability, and robust governance for our client's organisation.

  • Fully qualified accountant (eg, CIPFA, ICAS, ACCA, CIMA) with current membership of a recognised professional body.
  • Demonstrable success in delivering financial recovery, efficiency programmes, or major financial change initiatives.
  • Skilled in translating financial plans into delivery, monitoring impact, and maintaining rigorous oversight.
  • Strong influencing, collaboration, and communication skills, with confidence in advising senior leaders and board members.
  • Strategic thinker with a practical delivery focus and strong personal credibility.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engaged effectively with senior leaders, board members and budget holders on financial performance.
