Exciting Chief Executive Opportunity within Western Health and Social Care Trust

This Chief Executive role provides an exceptional opportunity to lead and shape the health and social care agenda in Northern Ireland.

This is an unprecedented time within health and social care (HSC), with the system facing ever increasing levels of demand for services, workforce shortages in key areas and financial constraints. Working collaboratively with other leaders from across HSC, government and local communities, the Chief Executive will drive transformation, reset priorities and continue to develop the world class services envisaged in the Minister’s Delivering Together Strategy.

This is an exciting leadership position which requires an outstanding leader, who is highly motivated, focused on service and quality improvement, committed to delivering excellence in health and social care and who can demonstrate strategic and financial leadership experience.

This Trust employs over 13,000 staff, serves a population of over 300,000 people and has a budget in excess of £1.2b per annum.
