Chief Data Governance Officer - Financial Services - £250,000 + 50% Bonus

An extremely rare opportunity to impact one of the global leaders within Financial Services as their first Chief Data Governance Officer position. Naturally, within a Financial Services firm of this caliber you will work across a multitude of their business offerings and organizations so for this Chief Data Governance position, we will need people who have operated at Group level within Financial Services.

Data has become of paramount importance for this organization, especially as they adopt AI so this role is critical for them. As the Chief Data Governance Officer, you will be responsible for bringing together the business units under one umbrella to make sure that the behaviour and standards towards Data across the group is the same in each area.

This Chief Data Governance Office is in executive position and as such, we will need to see that experience from our applicants. You will work with various members of C-Suite & Managing Directors as well as choosing and engaging third parties and building out the function beneath you including Heads of in each of the areas of the business.

As previously stated, this is an outstanding opportunity and one which could really shape the organization from a Data standpoint but more than anything, it could be an incredible calling card on your CV.

We would ideally have someone from a Data background for this Chief Data Governance Officer position, but that isn't essential.
