Responsibilities

  • List, package, label, and assess waste containers at customer premises.
  • Collect and safely transport wastes following regulations.
  • Handle container maintenance and pumping.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to customers.

What you'll be doing;

  • List, package, label, and assess waste containers at customer premises
  • Collect and safely transport wastes following road transport regulations and company procedures
  • Handle container maintenance including pumping, decanting, and re-drumming leaking containers
  • Complete documentation, printing labels, and processing paperwork efficiently to meet customer expectations
  • Provide technical expertise and support to customers and company employees
  • Maintain stock levels, assist at transfer stations, and supervise dangerous loads
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations, customer site rules, and maintain company property standards
  • Perform additional duties including waste sampling, spillage clearance, and other reasonable tasks as requested by management
  • Use of a company vehicle (Van) for business purposes



What we're looking for;



Essential

  • HNC / Degree level Chemistry or other related field
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills
  • Valid UK Driving Licence
  • Sound Knowledge of Waste Legislation
  • High Level of Literacy and Numeracy
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on their own initiative



Desirable

  • ADR
  • ForkLift License
  • First Aid Qualification
