About the Opportunity :

Lucas Collective, one of Australias most celebrated hospitality groups and embarking on a significant period of growth with a number of new venues opening next year, to facilitate this we are on the look-out for a Head Chef to join the team in either Melbourne or Sydney.

We are looking for passionate cooks and chefs to join our growing team across all Lucas venues and all levels including Pastry.

The Ideal Candidate Must Have :

• Demonstrated experience as a cook or chef in a high-volume restaurant or fine-dining venue
• Sushi, wok, pizza, and pastry experience highly regarded
• Strong understanding of food safety standards
• Resilient and able to perform in high-pressure service periods
• Strong work ethic and a "can do" attitude
• Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team
• Excellent communication skills
• Full availability and willing to work a rotating roster that includes opening or closing shifts, weekends and public holidays
