The Client- an iconic stunning home and residential care facility in Kingston, currently has a fantastic opportunity to recruit their Sous Chef.

The Role

As Sous Chef, the role will involve supporting the Chef as well as kitchen assistant duties to cook for 70+ residents daily. The key responsibilities include:

  • Supervise the smooth running of the kitchen in the absence of the Chef Manager.
  • Prepare and cook food for presentation to the service users.
  • Assist the Chef Manager in planning menus to achieve and maintain budgeted food cost.
  • Carry out stocktaking and food rotation procedures under the instruction of the Chef Manager.
  • Comply with statutory regulations concerning food hygiene, COSHH, and Health and Safety at Work.
