Location: Chinnor Oxfordshire (OX39)
Hours: 45 hours, 4.5 days per week
Salary: Up to £32,000 tips
Live‑in available (75 per week)

About the Role

An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a talented Chef de Partie with strong pastry experience or a Pastry CDP eager to step into a Michelin‑level kitchen. The restaurant boasts a Michelin Plate and 3 AA Rosettes, and is committed to delivering refined British and French‑inspired cuisine btogether with terrace dining and special events.

The successful candidate will work across the pastry section and/or a main kitchen section, depending on skillset. There is an opportunity to take ownership of pastry elements, including desserts, breads, afternoon bakes and petit fours.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and present high‑quality dishes to Michelin and 3 Rosette standards.
  • Take ownership of the pastry section or run a main kitchen section confidently.
  • Produce refined plated desserts, breads, pastry elements and seasonal creations.
  • Support menu development with creative ideas based on seasonal produce.
  • Maintain immaculate standards of organisation, cleanliness and mise en place.
  • Ensure consistent quality and presentation during busy services.
  • Assist in training junior chefs and foster a supportive team environment.
  • Uphold strict food safety hygiene and allergen compliance.
  • Assist with stock control, ordering and proper storage of pastry and dry goods.
About You
  • Experience as a Pastry Chef de Partie or a Chef de Partie in a high‑quality kitchen.
  • Strong pastry background or a desire to specialise further within pastry.
  • Passion for modern British and French‑inspired cuisine.
  • Ability to work calmly and efficiently in a fast‑paced, high‑level environmentagam.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to consistency.
  • Team‑focused with strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ambition to progress in a Michelin‑level environment.
Salary & Benefits
  • Up to £32,000 per year, depending on experience.

  • 45‑hour week across 4.5 days.
