Job summary

Soho House in Bath is seeking a Chef de Partie to support the kitchen brigade and deliver exceptional dining experiences for members and guests. You will prepare food, set up and stock stations, and plate to our standards, contributing to a high‑quality service.

Ideal candidates have up to 2 years’ experience, a passion for food, and a can‑do attitude. Flexible shifts including weekends are required; a culinary qualification is a plus but not essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in busy high‑profile venues.
• Passion for food, attention to detail, and a desire to learn and grow.
• Understanding of basic food safety and hygiene practices.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Positive, proactive and respectful attitude in a busy kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Plating food according to guidelines and maintaining high standards.
• Ensure mise en place is completed before service.
• Maintain a professional attitude at all times.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Attend regular meetings with front and back of house and participate in tastings.
• Support junior team members and guide Commis Chefs.
• Assist in team meals and accommodate dietary needs.
• Demonstrate proactivity and teamwork.
• Assist with deep cleaning of the kitchen before close.
• Wrap unused items and store properly after service.
