Job summary

Soho House is seeking a Chef de Partie to support the kitchen brigade in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our members and guests. You will help maintain high quality through mise en place, plating to company standards, and collaboration with front and back of house teams.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in a busy venue, a passion for food, good communication, and a team-oriented mindset. We offer weekly pay, staff discounts, training, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years' experience in similar capacity.
• Passion for food, attention to detail, and a strong desire to learn and grow.
• Understanding of basic food safety and hygiene practices.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Positive, proactive, and respectful attitude in a busy kitchen environment.
• Culinary qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 1 or 2) is a plus but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Plating food according to company guidelines ensuring high standards.
• Ensuring mise en place is completed before service.
• Maintain a professional attitude at all times.
• Ensure health and safety regulations are met.
• Attending regular meetings with front and back of house teams to learn about menu/service changes and tastings.
• Support junior team members through guidance and collaboration.
• Assist in preparation of team meals considering dietary needs.
• Demonstrate a proactive attitude towards learning and teamwork.
• Support deep cleaning of the kitchen before close.
• Wrap unused items and store them properly after service.
