Job summary

Soho House is seeking a Chef de Partie to support the kitchen brigade in delivering exceptional dining experiences for members and guests. You will help ensure high-quality food, prep, mise en place, and plating to standard.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in similar capacity.
• Passion for food, attention to detail, and a strong desire to learn and grow.
• Understanding of basic food safety and hygiene practices.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Positive, proactive, and respectful attitude in a busy kitchen environment.
• Culinary qualification (NVQ Level 1 or 2) is a plus but not essential.
• Must be able to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to take direction, work in a team environment and autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Plating food according to company guidelines ensuring high standards.
• Ensuring mise en place is completed before service.
• Maintain a professional attitude at all times.
• Ensure health and safety regulations are met.
• Attend regular meetings with front and back of house teams to learn about menu changes.
• Support junior team members through guidance and collaboration.
• Assist in preparation of team meals as requested, considering dietary needs.
• Demonstrate a proactive attitude towards learning, improvement, and teamwork.
• Support deep cleaning of the kitchen before close.
• Wrapping unused items and storing them in proper area at the end of service.
