Butcombe Group in Frome, England is seeking a Chef De Partie to join our busy kitchen in one of the UK’s picturesque pub locations. You’ll be responsible for a designated section, delivering consistent, high-quality dishes under the Head Chef guidance.

You’ll work in a fast-paced team, focus on accurate portioning, hygiene, and stock control, while contributing to a positive guest experience and the ongoing training and development the Butcombe group is known for.

Responsibilities

• Running a designated section of the kitchen, ensuring smooth day-to-day service and high standards
• Preparing and cooking high-quality dishes in line with the menu and Head Chef direction
• Delivering excellent food quality, presentation, and speed of service to exceed guest expectations
• Supporting the wider kitchen team during service and stepping up when required
• Managing your section’s performance, including portion control, stock rotation, and minimising waste
• Maintaining exceptional standards of food hygiene, safety, cleanliness, and presentation
• Supporting stock management, ordering, and routine kitchen documentation
• Working collaboratively with the kitchen team and following company standards
