Job summary

Soho House is seeking a Chef de Partie to join our kitchen brigade and deliver outstanding dining experiences for members and guests. You will prepare ahead of service, set up and stock stations, and plate to company standards.

The role values reliability, teamwork and a proactive attitude, with opportunities for continuous training, flexible shifts, and staff perks such as discounts and membership benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years' experience in a similar capacity.
• Culinary qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 1 or 2) is a plus but not essential.
• Must be able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Understanding of basic food safety and hygiene practices.

Responsibilities

• Plating food according to company guidelines to maintain high standards.
• Ensure mis en place is completed before service.
• Maintain a professional attitude at all times.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Attend meetings with FOH/BOH to learn menu/service changes and tastings.
• Support junior team members (e.g., Commis Chefs) through guidance.
• Assist in team meals, catering to dietary needs and variety.
• Participate in ongoing training and development efforts.
• Assist with kitchen deep cleaning before close.
• Store unused items properly after service.
• Work in a busy high-profile venue with a proactive, learning mindset.
