We are looking for a chef with a background in catering for professional sports teams to join

our team.

You will support our Head Chef and Sous Chefs in providing balanced, nutritional and high

quality meals to our players and staff at the training ground.

A good basis of nutrition helps our players to achieve their individual nutritional goals,

ultimately enhancing health, recovery and performance.

To lead the kitchen team in preparing and providing meals across all teams and staff.

Travel with teams to away games, following their weekly schedule / fixtures, ensuring all food

provided to them meets the presentation, taste and performance needs of the group.

Requirements and Responsibilities
  • Work with the Head Chef and independently to create and develop exciting seasonal menus.
  • Prepare meals for everyone on site whilst working within the nutritional guidelines and ensure junior team members are working correctly to achieve this with you.
  • Instruct junior team members accordingly to ensure all meals are delivered on time and presented to a high standard.
  • Support and lead junior members of the kitchen team.
  • Check stock requirements and complete order sheets.
  • Travel with teams in the UK and abroad when required as the catering team representative and provide food provisions as requested.
  • Assist in the preparation of all travel food requirements whilst displaying good organisational skills.
  • Support Head / Sous chefs to deliver constantly high quality food in a timely manner.
  • Cover Sous chefs' role as and when required.

Working closely with the Supervisor to ensure the highest level of food safety and hygiene are maintained.

Flexible to work around the teams schedules and at short notice

Essential and Desirable
The Chef De Partie must :
  • Have 2 years experience as a chef in a professional kitchen
  • Level 2 NVQ Professional Cookery or equivalent
  • Excellent communication skill to lead the junior kitchen team
  • Works well under pressure with the ability to remain calm with last minute schedule changes
Ideally, the Chef De Partie will :
  • Minimum of 1 year experience providing food to sports teams / athletes
  • Football specific experience
  • Knowledge of Sport Nutrition
