Qualifications

• Hold an NVQ Level 2-3 in Food preparing and catering.

Responsibilities

• Undertake menu planning in consultation with residents and Manager.
• Oversee and participate in the food preparation and cooking.
• Ensure menus are displayed showing choices.
• Supervise the kitchen employee team.
• Check quantity and quality of stock and order items as required.
• Ensure HACCP processes are followed.
• Manage food expenditure within budget.

Excellent cooking skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques
