Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers PLC is offering a Production Chef Level 2 Apprenticeship, 15 months, with a full-time kitchen role under supervision. You will gain a nationally recognised qualification while contributing to kitchen operations and guest experiences.

This apprenticeship provides practical training in cooking, food safety, and brand standards, with support from mentors and team leads throughout the program.

Qualifications

• Must be aged 18 or over.
• Apprenticeship delivers work-based training with face-to-face and remote sessions.
• Functional Skills in English and Maths are obtained during the apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Maintain open communication with the team to deliver outstanding food and service.
• Prepare, cook and present food quickly, safely and to brand standards.
• Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of the kitchen and back-of-house areas.
• Assist with stock rotation, prep and par process.
• Participate in in-house training and learning modules.
• Adhere to brand standards, licensing laws and company policies.
