Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare, review, and analyse financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
  • Audit & Assurance: Lead and participate in internal and external audits, providing expert advice on financial controls and risk management
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop, monitor, and report on budgets and financial forecasts to support business planning and decision-making processes
  • Business Advisory: Provide strategic financial advice to clients, helping them achieve their financial goals and optimise business performance
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date with changes in financial regulations, ensuring all practices and procedures are compliant
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development
Qualifications
  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting standards and financial regulations
  • Proficient in financial software and tools, with advanced skills in Excel
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels
