Job summary

Ehaat's Stevenage charity shop is seeking a Charity Shop Assistant Manager for a 3-day week, offering £12.91 per hour. You will oversee daily shop operations and drive sales while leading a team of volunteers to deliver excellent customer service.

You will manage stock, pricing, Gift Aid activities, and maintain a welcoming shop environment. The role requires a DBS check and adherence to Health & Safety guidelines in collaboration with the Workplace Team.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail management.
• Experience working with volunteers.
• DBS check required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain an inviting shop layout to maximise sales.
• Manage stock rotation and pricing according to charity guidelines.
• Actively promote Gift Aid to supporters.
• Lead and support shop volunteers and staff.
• Open and close the shop as key-holder.
• Coordinate with colleagues at meetings and charity events.
• Ensure health and safety compliance with Workplace Team.
