Job summary

St Elizabeth Hospice in England is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager for our charity retail outlet in Southwold. You will work with the Shop Manager to organise daily shop operations, drive sales against budgets and promote Gift Aid, while ensuring excellent customer service and top-quality merchandising.

You will also lead volunteers and provide cover across the local shop portfolio as needed by the Area Manager, supporting the hospice’s compassionate care ethos.

Qualifications

• Experience in charity or retail management preferred.
• Ability to lead volunteers and operate within a team.
• Strong customer service focus with attention to merchandising.

Responsibilities

• Assist Shop Manager with day-to-day shop operations.
• Achieve and monitor financial budgets.
• Promote and monitor Gift Aid.</br>Maintain high standards of merchandising and shop layout.
