Job summary

ABM UK is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee security, cleanliness, hygiene, waste management, maintenance, landscaping and related tasks at the client site.

You will manage rosters, budgets, and service levels while leading the site team and liaising with stakeholders. The role is based at Manor Walks Shopping Centre with a Monday to Friday pattern and Saturday rotations.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in operations management.
• Proven track record delivering high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Experience in budget forecasting and controlling.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Good IT literacy.
• Health & Safety certificates and IOSH qualification.
• Ability to compile clear written reports.
• Budget management skills.
• Problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Leadership including managing change.
• Time management and prioritization.
• Customer service skills.
• Experience in working in a shopping centre.
• SIA Door Supervisor qualification.

Responsibilities

• Manage the contract in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and waste management are consistently achieved.
• Ensure security team are deployed in line with site rotas, communicating effectively and managing & recording incidents.
• Complete budget forecasts and monthly reconciliations.
• Provide professional support to the business in service-related matters.
• Control staff rosters, payroll, and manning levels.
• Deliver excellent communication and motivation to the site-based team.
• Ensure compliance with quality performance measures and resolve non-compliance issues.
