Job summary

ABM UK in Wallsend is seeking a part-time Security and Cleaning operative to maintain a safe and secure environment in a busy shopping centre. You will perform day-to-day cleaning, housekeeping, and assist in supervising daily Centre operations on a 32-hour rota across five days.

The role requires SIA Door Supervisor and CCTV licences, strong customer service, and the ability to work calmly under pressure while liaising with colleagues and facilities staff.

Qualifications

• Must have SIA Door Supervisor Licence
• Must have CCTV Licence

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily cleaning within the Centre following PPM schedules to maintain a clean and safe environment
• Ensure efficient recycling and waste management is carried out
• Liaise with colleagues to ensure smooth and efficient running of the Centre
• Maintain welfare facilities in good condition
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with emergency services
