Job summary

ABM UK is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead security, cleanliness, hygiene, waste management, maintenance, and landscaping at a client site. You will oversee the operations, ensure policy compliance, and drive service excellence across the site in line with contractual obligations.

The role requires proven operations management experience, strong leadership, budget awareness, and the ability to engage with clients and staff.

Qualifications

• SIA Door Supervisor certification.
• IOSH qualification or equivalent health and safety qualification.

Responsibilities

• Manage the contract in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and waste management are consistently achieved.
• Ensure security team are deployed in line with site rotas, communicating effectively and managing & recording any incidents on site.
• Complete budget forecasts and monthly reconciliations.
• Provide professional support to the business in service-related matters.
• Control staff rosters, payroll, and manning levels.
• Deliver excellent communication and motivation to the site-based team.
• Ensure compliance with quality performance measures and resolve any non-compliance issues.
• Significant experience in operations management.
• Proven track record in delivering high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Experience in budget forecasting and controlling.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Good IT literacy.
