A local government entity in Nottingham is seeking a motivated Lifeguard to supervise customers at the Victoria Leisure Centre. The role requires the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification and excellent customer service skills. The successful candidate will maintain safety and cleanliness while supporting customers' activities. This position offers a starting salary of £25,583 per annum, and candidates must be willing to work flexible hours.
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: Post 1 - 28 hours; Post 2 - 14.5 hours; Post 3 - 11.75 hours (Female only role)
Worker Type: Onsite Worker
Salary: Starting £25,583 (Level one) rising to £26,403 per annum (pro rata for part-time)

Active Nottingham are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the team at Victoria Leisure Centre. The main duties are to ensure the safe supervision of all customers using the swimming pools and other areas of the centre. Delivering exceptional customer service by consistently adhering to professional standards. Maintaining high levels of cleanliness and ensuring a safe environment for customers to enjoy their chosen activities or sports. Being responsible for setting up, breaking down, and correctly storing equipment in accordance with established guidelines and health and safety standards and able to work shifts and flexible hours to cover for the needs of the service along with attending monthly staff training.
This post is covered by the statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) (English Language Requirement for public sector workers) and therefore the ability to speak fluent English is an essential requirement for the role.
A DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity is required for this post.
