Scientist – Cellular Immunology (T-cell focus)
Location: King’s Cross, London (on-site with some flexibility for remote work)
Must already have the right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available)

Postdoctoral or equivalent industry experience strongly preferred

The team blends biology, data science, and machine learning to revolutionise vaccine and therapeutic development, and they’re now looking for a Scientist with deep expertise in T-cell biology to help shape the future of their pipeline.

What you’ll be doing

• Develop and optimise cellular and immunological testing platforms to inform antigen design

• Design and run functional assays with primary mouse/human cells and cell lines

• Characterise T-cell responses (flow cytometry, ICS, CTL assays, cytokine profiling)

• Perform cell culture, PBMC isolation, and immune tissue processing

• Contribute to antigen delivery/expression studies (DNA/mRNA transfection, mRNA-LNP formulation)

• Collaborate across research teams and support junior scientists

What we’re looking for

• PhD in T-cell biology, cellular immunology, or related field (essential)

• Postdoc or equivalent industry experience in immunology (preferred)

• Extensive hands-on expertise in functional assays with primary human/animal T cells

• Strong skills in culturing T cells, in vitro/ex vivo assays, and cytokine/CTL analysis

• Experienced with multi-parameter flow cytometry (panel design, staining, data analysis)

• Competent in transfecting cells with plasmid DNA and/or IVT mRNA
