Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services in the United Kingdom is seeking a Security Control Room Operator to support the site Security Site Manager. You will coordinate incident response, monitor CCTV, log events and ensure contractual security standards are met.

Reporting to the Security Team, you will work with Housekeeping and M&E colleagues, handle alarms, access control and use MERLIN for incident records. A CCTV SIA Licence and the ability to work under pressure are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate in a pressurised environment.
• Excellent time management and attention to detail.
• Experienced in security incident response and escalation.
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation.
• Experience in working in a team and on own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate incident response from the control room.
• Action all critical alarms promptly.
• Maintain CCTV and security systems and log incidents.
• Escalate incidents to Emergency Services when required.
• Monitor access and egress and manage keys and radios.
• Record and report incidents using MERLIN platform.
