Job summary

GTR is recruiting a CCTV Operator based at our Rail Operating Centre in Three Bridges. You will monitor CCTV feeds, coordinate responses to incidents, and support staff and customers while maintaining compliance with CCTV codes of practice.

We're seeking someone with prior CCTV experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure. The role offers a final salary pension, generous holiday allowance and travel benefits for you and your family.

Qualifications

• Previous CCTV experience or similar environment.
• Knowledge of CCTV systems and practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Attend duty on time and in a fit state.
• Coordinate response to incidents on the network.
• Utilise airwave radio for communication with security forces.
• Liaise with emergency services and provide updates to stakeholders.
• Maintain clear and accurate records.
• Test CCTV systems daily and report faults to the maintainer.
