Job summary

Mitie Business Services is seeking a capable Control Room Operator to help monitor CCTV, intruder, and fire alarm panels within a supportive security team. You will handle daily operational tasks, ensure accurate recording of incidents to outline identified risks, escalate Health and Safety concerns, and respond to emergencies with precise reporting to ensure alarms are responded to efficiently.

The ideal candidate will understand Private Security Industry law, Health and Safety for the Private

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CCTV license and have a 5-year verifiable education or work history with references.
• Experience in control room or security is preferred.
• Knowledge of Private Security Industry legislation and Health and Safety for private security operatives.
• Ability to report health and safety concerns and escalate incidents accurately.

Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV, intruder, and fire alarm panels and report incidents.
• Assist with daily operational requirements and ensure compliance.
• Elevate incidents and produce accurate incident reports.
• Respond to emergencies and ensure alarms are handled promptly.
• Maintain accurate records and support risk identification.
