Job description

As a Catering Supervisor at Sodexo, based at Bassetlaw Hospital you'll take the lead in delivering high-quality catering services in a dynamic healthcare environment. You'll be an inspiring leader, capable of motivating your team in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a sharp eye for detail. With strong communication and organisational skills, you'll help us put people at the heart of everything we do - delivering outstanding service to patients, staff, and visitors alike. What you'll do:
  • Assist in the management of a high quality, timely, responsive, cost-effective and pro- active patient dining service to meet the needs of the wards and departments
  • Provide direction, guidance and support to ensure the necessary duties are carried out to maintain an efficient service within the hospital and associated areas
  • Be responsive to service needs as they arise and to constantly seek to improve the productivity and quality of the service
  • All work must be undertaken in line with health, safety, security and Company and Trust policies and procedures
  • Undertake a number of other support services to assist the functioning of the Trust operations
  • Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety regulations, including Food Safety, Allergen Awareness, COSHH, and HACCP
  • 24.5 Hours per week / Saturday's and Sunday's / 06:30 - 19:15
  • 13.45 per hour + any enhancements
  • Location is Bassetlaw Hospital, Kilton Hill, Worksop, Nottinghamshire, S81 0BD
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role
  • A professional attitude, with integrity and a strong sense of responsibility
